In this digital era where almost every aspect of our life has been move from physical to online. That includes shopping, the older folks, those born before the 90's would probably still remember the scene of queueing to pay in the supermarket or even a fast food chain.

I remembered while I was in high school, one of my teacher was telling us that our mind loves to play tricks on us, taking a counter queue as an example, He said we would always feel that the other counter besides us would always have a faster moving queue, either direction, but once we leave our current counter to join the other counter, your current queue starts moving, so if you are constantly queue hoping from one counter to the other counter, we might ending up taking a longer time to pay off our dues and leave the counter.

Anyone also notice this interesting observation made by my teacher many years back? He has a name for this but sorry for the fact that I have obviously forgotten about it till I see today's prompt. We all needs patience else we might end up spending more time.
