5 Minutes Free Writing - A Bitter Pill
Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - A Bitter Pill. Hope you enjoy the story.
Today is a bittersweet day for Jeffrey as he has a bitter pill to swallow. Today, he is serving his last day of his current shift roster, starting tomorrow he will be assign to a new roster. He is extremely unhappy with this arrangement, as he is the one woth the least issue at work, always clearing his items diligently whether urgent or not.
This has morphed into a case of Jeffery in times of crisis and in times like now when the company is doing cost cutting, he became “redundant” in current model.
The change of his long term shift has not only impacted his take home salary but also his lifestyle has to take a big change. Should he move on to quit or keep swallowing bitter pills one after another?
