RE: Hive Sabotage by @pfunk the bully

You are right about a lot of what you said here.

I still stand by my point about complicity though. Promoting something that turns out to be a scam, when there is plenty of strong hints that it is, is complicity in that scam. Like anyone promoting ponzis like Bitconnect, etc.

It is funny because Troy and I from Las Vegas and worked in the IATSE union local out there both for 20 years or so. He is a bit more vocal than I but both of us are quick to call out shady moves and be quite vocal when scams are emerging in real life.

Troy is known to shoot first and ask questions later. Funny story... One time Troy was at the Union hall when a set of new golf clubs was mailed to our business rep by an employer. Troy happened to be there. He went on facebook and onsite telling the members about how the employer was buying off our BR with golf clubs. Turned out the golf clubs were just being returned after a typical business meeting involving golf. That was one of the few times Troy was wrong calling out our elected officials. I watched him do a lot for our members as well as just helping others out like myself by allowing my kids and myself live rent free in his house for 3 years.

Troy and I got into a few arguments over psyberx and stopped talking for months because of it. A lot of it is because of what you mentioned here...

You put PsyberX as "a surface level dream project where Hive is funding a dude's college ambition to create a halo game" very well. It seems clear enough to me that after his failure-to-launch Kickstarter campaign, Justin went looking for a community of suckers with magic internet money to fund him and found Hive. Starting with the LVL token with promises of NFT distribution, and then direct NFT sales. Almost everything is about selling them and while there is some "gameplay" or at least in-engine videos being presented, none of it looks like it's in any state to be released as a game worth playing within any reasonable timeframe.

Troy has some valid points in response to what you mentioned above that I brought to his attention last year. There is actually a whole damn list of grievances I have with psyberx on top of what you mentioned... like why not have a linkedin, have a more clear list of former clients, be more transparent in employee costs esp for determining how the hive is cashed out from lvl market. But people like Bobthebuilder and co will be like gezz this guy can not stop can he?

Troy had a point though... He was like listen: I want to give this guy (Justin/ Jboss) a chance. He said he wants to do an ambitious game and it will take a year. Troy said he wanted to take a risk and be apart of something potentially big. Also said he wants to develop a game of his own with his kids in vegas and the Philippines. If it all goes well then he can live with his wife and kids in the Philippines.

With devs like klye and bala as well as community leaders like Engine I think there is good promise.

So I get it. I respect it. Times are stressful. We all need to work more each and every year for less. Troy really is a good dude just taking a risk with lvl and trying to do his part to help it succeed. Being a Navy vet, 20+ year union member and a west coast Yankee doodle he can come off a certain way with just text as a form of communication.

I had no idea that NFTs on other networks were being sold. That sure doesn't increase my desire to do anything but downvote their posts and call it a value-draining scam for Hive. Even having said that, if a playable game was released and it was still Hive-based I would buy at least $100 worth of their NFTs.

Yeah, it wasnt anything major just exclusive game demo access on avax😅... But seriously the fact that you would support the game if it went live and worked is my point too. Hive is an amazing tight knit community. We support each other even when we are not. Hive is so special to me in so many ways. I just want the community's investment to not be wasted or taken advantage of and Troy is trying his hardest to make sure psyberx stays honest but he can only do so much as a simple investor and promoter that works for peanuts if not free.

Hey I was checking out my witnesses the other day and you were missing blocks so I went with someone live. Are you you good now? Perhaps it was the whole hf testing...

Yup & I see you also removed my witness vote back in July over this game and that is all fine and dandy, in time we will see if my gamble paid off or not, you have certainly made your point heard of wanting to see the financials yet does Splinterlands or any Hive game say what any person is paid or show their financials? just curious... He has been open and told us the team was trimmed to 6-7 people from a dozen since this bear market yet to keep developing and adding Hive Witness Developers also working on the project has only added more faith in the project in my eyes. The lack of a linked in is of no concern to me, the studio has an Upwork profile and is now among the top 3% of developers there last I checked and not looking for a job so linked in is not a priority.
