Society is often wrong, it is owned by big marketing and they know just the right buttons to push in the media we consume. I learned too ignore them, I got an VPN and I'm not afraid to use it!
My late roommate and I operated a rental suite where I took in single mothers that are on welfare, the most vulnerable. Single parents understand what other single parents face. Over the years as a Landlady I have sheltered quite a number of single Moms because I long learned that the only thing more powerful than than a strong mother are two or more strong mothers cooperating together.
My most dramatic time was facing an angry husband who abused his wife I sheltered. He was clearly bigger than me but stood my ground between them.
And my current tenant is a blessing in return.

Oh my goodness. You do a lot and it is so understandable that there will be some unforgettable experiences. What most single mothers go through is almost more than a hell and it's so lovely how you get to stand in for them in your own way.
I wish you more of the strength to keep going, even when there are contradicting subjects in the way.
When we noticed her bruises, injuries and listened her story we had to intervene.
She is safe now and happier living with a different, godly and loving husband on the east coast.
