I am seeing this topic in another way completely right now. Well, to conclude a matter, one needs to pay attention to both sides.

I don't know how companies work but I think no matter how little the pay would be, depending on the strength of the company, it should atleast package something for interns. Those guys are going through a lot, I know it's just like another place of learning but this time, they are also rendering services, they company is benefiting from them one way or another...
