RE: Opinion Series Part 3: Do Parents Really Have a Favorite Child?

We're the same thinking and I always complain.
When I was younger, I used to tell my mother that she loved my youngest sibling because his food was always delicious when he was ill, and since he had always been ill, it seemed like I wanted to be sick too. I would always order something whenever they bought something in the tyangge, but my sibling would never do so. When my sister would go to a disco at night, I couldn't go with them too, even though I wanted to go with them, because I was still young. When I was younger, I thought my mom loved and preferred my siblings over me. But when I grew up and I had child, I understand her now.

I understand that she has no favorites among our siblings; she loves us all and simply wants to protect us, so she does everything she can for us.
