Completion of the 3rd edition cards, governance & delegation changes

About dCity

dCity is a mathematical and trading game based on non-fungible tokens available on Hive-Engine. Players build their own cities with tokens representing buildings, citizens, technologies, and earn income in the form of HIVE (based on ranking) and SIM token (based on city income). There are also cards that players can get only from playing the game like technologies, backgrounds and prevention cards.

Completion of 3rd edition

We have closed the possibility of minting cards from the 3rd edition. From now on, players who want to buy cards from this edition will only be able to do so via the Market. In a previous post, we made a small list of cards that may be useful in the future or are good cards to have in your city.

Governance voting

A new governance vote is underway for SIM Club members regarding the Popularity multiplier. Popularity gives a % bonus to the Population. It can be particularly lucrative for very large cities. We would like to modify its value to adjust the % bonus.
Current formula for the Popularity multiplier: (Popularity ^ 0.6) * 100
There are three multipliers to choose from (0.57, 0.55, 0.52) and their % effect on Population according to Popularity level looks like this:

In addition, we finalized two governance votes regarding pool rewards for SIM/SWAP.HIVE pool and changes to the HP delegation system. LP Reward has been set to the 100M SIM tokens level (as last year), details regarding the delegation system below.

HP delegation changes

SIM Club members have voted for changes regarding the reward parameters for participating in the Hive Power delegation system. Until now it has been 7% APR in the form of SIM tokens + Young Citizen card for every 1000 HP delegated.
From now on, rewards will be 3% APR in the form of SIM tokens + Young Citizen card for every 500 HP delegated. We have covered more details about the delegation system in this post.

Incoming Changes

In the near future, we are considering new developments to the game regarding the introduction of new Cards to dCity and SIM BOX collection drop.

• Start Up Combine Building with Investor and other Citizens and buildings.
• Castle Ruins Combine Building with Architect and other Citizens and buildings.
• SIM BOX NFTs collection drop for SIM Club members, including:
  1. 1300 Chaos Legion packs,
  2. 2000-4000$ in Splinterlands cards,
  3. Small dCity collection.

Citizen Claim Reminder

Free Citizens distribution based on Popularity has stopped, with only the Top 400 Income ranking players and SIM Club members eligible to claim Free Citizens cards. However, claiming Free Citizens is not the only feature available to SIM Club members and users in the Top 400. dCity is introducing changes driven by player ideas and the collaborative efforts of SIM Club members. To join the Club, you must have at least 1 million SIM power, and you can do so via the official dCity Discord. Additionally, we are organizing exclusive giveaways and raffles for SIM Club members.
