Hello my dear friends! I hope you're having a wonderful day!
Our region in Mexico, as many others in the country, is getting quite humid and hot most of the day. Hurricane season is on our doorstep! The pool doesn't give us much to cool off in because the water makes it feel like you're swimming around in a bowl of soup that was left on the table for too long. Not very nice.

The cold showers that I love are now luke warm most of the time.
So I spend most of my days indoors right now, peaking my head out every now and then, eyes squinted like a hermit after a winter sleep, mistrusting and paranoid of what's out there.

Although a little bicycle ride will sometimes do me good.
Weirdly enough, riding the bike on a hot day will give just enough relief not to melt from the heat.
But once I get off the bike, sweat will just pour out of me.
Very strange.
Nothing like I've ever encountered in my life, and I've lived in SE Asia and Vegas!

To me, this means it's time for manifesting a little bit of travel.
I know, I know, we've just moved to Mexico and are moving house soon.
Of course, I know this. But the travel fever is always present in me, even though it can be subdued a little when the place, and time is right.

I love Playa, I really do. And I've found a few pretty cool people here, as well as the kids. That's not the issue. I would just love to travel the country a bit, for a few days, or even weeks, and I need to get a few things done before I can even start thinking of that.

Then, when I think about what all needs to happen, I feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start.

I need to change that!
So here is what I'll do...

My (Pocket) Vision Board

Most people will have heard of a vision board.
If not, I'll explain it a little.

A vision board is a board that you can make with all the things you'd like to see in your life.
Do you want to be a fitter version of yourself?
Maybe include a picture of yourself the way you were when you were fit, or the picture of someone else who's physique you like.

If it's a car that you want, take a picture of the exact car you'd like. And so on for everything. House, garden, etc. etc.
Just like in the photo above. I did exaggerate a bit in that one, but you can adapt it to your own. You can add pictures as you go. There's really no limit. You can have 3 pictures there or 20. What I usually do is a big sheet of card board, like an A2 or so, print the pictures and stick them on.

Hang this in your home somewhere where you'll see it every day. Like in the kitchen or living room. You can also make a smaller version and stick it on your bathroom mirror. Whatever you like to do, works.

Now, as for the pocket version...
I've taken pictures online, and make a collage in a mobile app. The collage maker I use is called 'In Collage' but you can use any other collage maker you like to use.

With this, you do the same as you would with a regular vision board, only smaller.
I use this pocket vision board as a screen saver, or even as the home page, on my phone.
We spend huge amounts of time on our phones these days. That way, you'll be reminded of the vision board often. You might as well take advantage of your time spent on the phone, right?

Now, let the universe do the rest for you. You'll remind yourself every day of what you want to achieve. Eventually, your subconscious mind will store this, and make it yours. If you come back in a year or so, you'll be surprised to see how much of what you had on your vision board has come into your life already!
