I don´t have real plans, just interests.
Right now I´m also helping a friend (depression and panick attacks),
mainly by just being there for her and walking her dog when she´s down.
But yeah, I got this vague idea that I don´t want to spend old age in Germany, which is on a downward slope.
I am following a German settler project in Bolivia and in Paraguay (El Paradiso Verde, they are also on Youtube), also Belize sounds interesting, no need to learn Spanish and good diving.
Mexico I appreciate for their anti-corona-fascist politics, and it´s a big and diverse country with a lot to offer.
So thanks for the invite, much appreciated.
Your friend is lucky to have you. It's so important to have someone who cares in those cases. You're a good friend!
I'll check out El Paradiso Verde.
I love Belize. Or at least I did when I was there around 15 years ago. I heard a lot has changed since but I will have to find out for myself. I may have to go there if I apply for the work permit so it'll give me a chance to see if lots has changed or not.
Yeah, Spanish is an issue but I am learning and trying to practice as much as I can because I feel it's really important to be able to speak it since I want to immerse fully and not be a tourist forever.
Mexico is huge and it is very diverse. That's one of the things I love about it.
I want to explore more of the country as soon as we can, even if it's just to get it out of my system because we really love it here in Playa, and the Riviera Maya is just amazing.
But then again, once our Spanish is a bit better, we'll make friends all around the country, I'm sure.
Have a great weekend!
