today I would like to share with you my thoughts about the listnerds.com website. At the moment it is my third week with this platform and I can say that it is an interesting and intriguing idea.
In the simplest possible way, I can explain the principle of this website which is that we read e-mails of other people and we open the links which they send us in order to see their products collecting MAIL thanks to which we can send e-mails to other people advertising their products. If you do not buy any package, you get 5 MAIL for opening one link, whereas 1 MAIL is for sending an advertisement to one person. Of course, you can buy a monthly subscription which allows you to collect MAILS faster and you can send more emails.
So far I've managed to send two e-mails and read 782 of them. Moreover, thanks to my luck I received 5 LISTNERDS for opening e-mails. Interestingly the price of such one token on hive-engine is equal to 2 HIVE. I also learned from my mistakes that 100 MAIL is a small amount if you want to send an e-mail and it's better to collect 1500 of them to be more sure that you will get verification, which is not easy anyway because from the information I found it's necessary to receive 20 upvotes and each downvote cancels one upvote.
Another thing is the ever-increasing number of emails that come in, and as a result, it's hard to get a person to even open your email and then click on the link.
Honestly, at first, glance when I entered this site I recognized it as something like a scam. I probably would have let it go if it wasn't for the fact that people from Cartel also use this site. We can start with the frontend itself, it's quite clearly done, but graphically it looks very average due to the choice of components and colors. Another thing that puzzled me a lot is the fact that we have to press the links and go to another page to see what the person sending the email has prepared for us. And yet at every step, we are warned against entering various links because they may cause downloading malicious software or trying to trick our passwords. Fortunately, there is an option to check links, but I am sure that most people do not use it.
After some time, however, you can also see the beauty of this site, because it allows real advertising. Even if out of 1500 people, only 100 will open the link and half of them will go to the page before redirecting, we always have 50 random people who can see what we wanted to advertise. Maybe it's not a lot if we want to promote our product so that everyone will hear about it, but for a person who writes his blogs on Hive, it's a very interesting option to make more people hear about his blogs.
Now you know my initial thoughts, but in order to present them in a complete way, it is necessary to take a look at the emails I received during this month. Here we have a very large variation, from emails that attract the eye and make you want to click on them because you can see that the person made a great description or instead of a description created a picture, which presents the most important information, to such emails that when you see it you really wonder if the person wants to break into your computer. So far only once received information about malware and I am very positively surprised. Another thing is the content after clicking on the email. Here we can also distinguish different things like:
As you can see there is quite a variety, but among the many forcibly created e-mails, there are gems, which when you see it makes you smile that it makes sense. An example of this can be a recently seen by me page with things made of gold. Why do I think it is something cool? Because that is how I envision this site to work, which is to give people information about different products that are not related to everything they see every day and to allow both sides to make money.
It's really hard to know what to think about this site. On the one hand, we have a very interesting project which shows us that it is possible to advertise on web3 but on the other hand it may seem a bit inaccessible for young people and outdated because less and less people want to read and more prefer to watch. Another thing is that it is quite a tedious job to verify that you can then send the email yourself. Another thing is quite a high entry threshold if you want to make money because you have to invest about $100 first to make sure that you will be able to collect enough MAILs to send solo MAILs.

Haha, even more! I think I saw something like 50k yesterday or something. I was like if you earn that much, why bother sending emails? :)
A minimum of 1000 is defo recommended but preferably a bit more as the timing is sometimes a bit off and can make you hang on the silk thread where you almost get verified (or not)
Have fun on your journey!
Came through listnerds!
I always forget to read emails at listnerds. I'm actually not a big fan of email. And I already expected the competition for audience to be fierce. Folks having a limited amount of emails that they can upvote daily makes the resource scarce.
Good luck on your journey!
