I did this, too. For me, I was more interested in playing snake games. Well, it was just this small Nokia 3310 then and there was nothing fancy to keep me entertained except the games and yes, I was helping her to use the phone.

You are right, Abenad. I think checking your partner's or anyone's phone isn't a bad thing, especially when you are allowed to have access to it but it becomes insecure to want to intrude deeper, looking for what wasn't lost. This only leads to issues later and it's better to take a walk like you said. You could do yourself some good burning calories than causing trouble.
