Have you ever wonder why people lies?

Lies are deliberate false statements or actions intended to deceive or mislead others. It can range from small white lies to major deceptions that can lead to consequences. People may resort to lying for various reasons such as avoiding punishment, manipulating others, and most of the times protecting their image.

Living in lies can cause confusion and betrayal not just to others but to your own self. Once you start lying it becomes your life until you can no longer identify what is the truth anymore. And once you live in lying you can not back down anymore because you don't know how to start again in truth.

People who lie are people who don't have a conscience. They act according to their lies and not even bothered if there is someone that could get hurt. They fabricated stories and exaggerate their emotions to gain sympathy or garner a desired response from those around them. They sometimes add dramatic elements to make their stories more attention-seeking. They also act impulsively without thinking the consequence.

People who live a lie struggle with the feeling of insecurity inadequacy and erode their credibility. They sometimes become skeptical of their words and actions that makes it difficult to trust them.

Sometimes I wonder if there is an underlying reason to do this actions. I may say that me too sometimes lie that it makes me wake up in the middle of the night with a racing heart beats. It's not a good feeling though that's why I often think why some people who lied can go on with their lives as if nothing is wrong with them. It's not a good feeling but maybe it also gives us time to do what needs to be done to save ourselves for a while or save others for a while but we need to act fast so that these lies will not continue and the truth shall prevail even if it will cause pain.

So let me ask you, is lying a good thing or a bad thing? For me, it's sometimes helpful but we must remember the effect of lying if we continue doing it, It may become our living life and it may hurt others and ourselves as well so let's try not to lie.
