It is maybe due to the fact that, the language is not spoken by anyone now. But, it is something close to Arabic as far as I know.. So, their guess isn't right. But, close enough.. LOL..

Aramaic is much closer to Hebrew. And when reading from the Torah scrolls in the synagogue and Temple Jesus (Yeshua) would have been speaking in Hebrew.
