The GLYPH project is still going strong!

Every day, the program distributes GLYPH tokens on Hive-Engine / Tribaldex to people who take part in the project. There are several ways to support the initiative and earn rewards. Here’s how you can get involved.

1. Take part with the !GLYPH command

You can leave a !GLYPH comment under a post that you think deserves a boost. When the command is registered, both you and the post’s author may receive a fraction of GLYPH.

Rewards are sent manually, usually within 24 hours. I use a program to keep track of the !GLYPH commands I receive and distribute the rewards.

The reward amount depends in part on how many GLYPH you have in staking: the more you have, the higher your reward may be, up to the current limit of 100 GLYPH staked. This limit may increase in the future when the project can support it. For now, I prefer to grow gradually and help maintain the token’s stability.

2. Stake your GLYPH

You can also put your GLYPH to work by staking it. You’ll then receive daily rewards, calculated at an announced APR of 5.18%.

The program handles the calculations and reward processing. I run the distribution manually when I have some free time, usually before or after work.

The current limit is also 100 GLYPH staked.

3. Delegate to the BENEF team

A third option is to delegate certain tokens to the BENEF team. Delegations help support the project and may qualify you for GLYPH rewards according to the rates below.

The @benef.pepe and @benef.pimp accounts have just opened their reward programs. The first distributions will begin in six days, after the initial curation returns come in.

Post curation

With this account, I vote only on posts that meet these criteria:

• They contain more than 500 words.
• They are written by an author with a good reputation.
• My voting mana is available.

I make sure my voting mana never drops below 96%. That means I may sometimes miss an eligible post simply because I don’t have enough mana when I check it.

If your post meets these criteria and I haven’t seen it, leave a !GLYPH comment below it. I’ll take a look as soon as I can.

How is GLYPH price stability supported?

For now, the BENEF team helps support the token through its trading activity. Around 80% of the profits are used to buy back GLYPH. The rest is kept in a reserve on swap.ltc.

This reserve may be used to help rebalance the token or, depending on the project’s needs, to provide personal compensation. The goal is to grow the project gradually while keeping its management as transparent as possible.

• In circulation outside my account: 274.109015 GLYPH
• Currently bought back from the market: 288.593793 GLYPH

The amount bought back from the market is therefore 14.484778 GLYPH higher than the amount circulating outside my account.

One last note

I’ll no longer name the winners in my posts. I was told that doing so could attract downvotes, even when the names were mentioned only in a comment. Instead, I’ll share screenshots at the end of future posts, whatever the topic.
