At least you use your truck as it was intended. I saw a Dodge Ram here the other day and it looked like it was just for posing. They are huge compared to most vehicles here and don't really fit our roads.

If we need stuff in bulk for the garden we just get it delivered. We've had a load of topsoil and pebbles for our landscaping. They come in big bags and we just had to shift them from the drive to where they were needed. I guess you just save on delivery costs. Our Honda CRV can take big loads, but we don't want to fill it with those things. Today we had 3 sacks of compost and a load of plants from the garden centre in there.
