Managing a large family, my wife does a great job keeping up with meals, laundry and on top of that her position of Treasurer and carrying most of the weight of a new business, Turner Sister's Bakery.
It's a pleasure to help where I can, and ironing my own dress shirts lifts yet another project from my wife's very capable (but occupied) hands.
Momma is the STAR Player in our home, keeping everything in order.
The shirts get washed promptly, then go in the hamper in queue to get ironed. Eventually, daddy runs out of dress shirts so I dig through the hamper and find some very wrinkly shirts. Out come the ironing board and the old iron.
Start with the collar, which once that's done the whole shirt looks better already.
Next the arms. It's not perfect, but it's so much better than before.
The satisfaction of a wrinkled pile turn into a nice pressed shirt is very enjoyable.
Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. Do you feel the same?

Have you ever had great pleasure in something as simple as ironing a shirt?
Bless the Most High!
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each manβs work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

My wife does most of the ironing. She loves to do it :) I do occasionally when she is busy with something else.
They are doing great job managing home, no doubt about it!

Essential part of home life. !BBH
!BBH My friends think it's weird, but I prefer laundry and ironing to all other chores.
Enjoying laundry means enjoying THIS house of nine! !BBH
For sure. I raised 3 boys and 3 girls. Sports, work uniforms, diapers...but I preferred that to the endless cooking. I did both, of course.

The last time I ironed, I mistakenly burnt my daughter's dress, for now I don't think I want to iron again
Oh no, that's awful! Maybe work up the courage to try again. !BBH
While I haven't had the need to iron anything in many years, I do remember taking satisfaction from the process. Turning a wrinkly mess into smooth elegance is rather enjoyable. πππβ¨π€

I agree completely. Probably not to many places to iron on an off-grid tropical homestead. No laundry to worry about anyway! !BBH
Hehe...that's true, I don't think I've ever even seen an iron or an ironing board here, and right you are about my happy paucity of laundry! πππβ¨π€

It's good when everyone in the family pitches in to work on all the things that must be done. Teamwork makes the dream work!

The simpler things of life are definitely the ones I treasure the most!π
Money provides financial security, but it doesnβt hold a candle to holding my one month old granddaughter in my arms!π₯°
It's always a balance... looking back I know I won't regret the precious time and memories, but it sucks being poor in the meantime. !BBH
Very true my friendβ¦.. money is necessary!π
It is a balanceβ¦β¦.
Ironically, I also find great pleasure in folding clothes and putting them away. Having a "perfectly" organized drawer is incredibly satisfying.
Oh so nice. Top tier, organized drawer. !BBH
I consider ironing a necessary evil at best. Emphasis on evil π€£.
!BBH
I'd put the emphasis more on the necessary... !BBH
I get what you are saying. If you get in the rhythm, it can be soothing.
Agree. !BBH
Yeah! It's weird how we don't tend to take cognizant of these.
Ironing clothes add more value to it too.
Yes exactly! !BBH
Ironing is one of my hobby, I hardly jet others iron my clothes, nice to see you doing it.

Salute to Women's, managing house specially in a large family is not a joke.

Have a wonderful weekend.
My mom is a hero and she does so much for us too.
You are wonderful dad.
Mothers are heroes, daddy is just a sidekick. !BBH
You are a great dad and husband by helping out your wife.
Aw shucks, it's nothing. !BBH
When everyone in the family understands that the work load is not gender specific, and everyone in that sense fasen up their, in keeping the home moving, trust me it always beautiful and easy to live with that kind of a family.
