How are you doing today?
On my side of the screen, the weather has cooled down quite a bit. After three weeks of intense heat, the temperature suddenly dropped today: we went from 32°C down to 17°C, with some rain on top of that. Quite a change!
But it wonāt last long, since temperatures are already expected to rise back up to around 30°C by tomorrow. Still, this little yo-yo effect feels goodāit gives us a bit of a break from the heatwave thatās already being predicted for this summer.
That said, Iām not going to complain too much⦠Letās just say itās the natural order of things: hot in the summer and cold in the winter, just like always š
Today, I wonāt have much time to spend on the computer. It will just stay running with its automated curation tasks in the background, unless I need it for something else. Iāve got quite a bit of real-life work waiting for me, so that comes first!
And starting next week until July 15, Iāll be even less present. Iāll be back to working 40 hours a week for about a month and a half, trying to get everything wrapped up before the summer holidays. So things are going to be pretty busy!
Iāll still stop by in the evenings when I can, just to check in and stay a bit active.
What else can I say, besides talking about the weather? š
Honestly, not much thatās really exciting at the moment. My life is mostly following that classic routine: āwork, commute, sleep,ā as the saying goes. The days go by pretty quickly, and thereās not a lot of major or interesting things happening to talk about.
So right now, the thing Iām looking forward to the most is July 15. Thatās when my four weeks of annual leave finally begin. I really canāt wait to take a break, go on a little vacation, get a change of scenery, and just disconnect from the daily routine.
Itāll also be a good opportunity to deal with all the administrative paperwork Iāve been putting off for a while. Iād like to use that time to get everything organized, catch up on a few things Iāve neglected, and start fresh. Lately, Iāve really been lacking timeāmy workdays have been quite long, and I barely have any time for myself. The little free time I do get is usually just a short moment in the evening before going to bed⦠and it goes by way too fast.
To be honest, these days it almost feels like having a social life is a luxury. Between work and exhaustion, thereās barely any room left for anything else, and Iām definitely starting to feel it.
Thatās also why Iām looking forward to these holidays so much. Slowing down, seeing people again, taking time for myself⦠itās going to feel really good.
Canāt wait for the holidays š
Good days all .
