AP + medical

Today, I didn’t do much: only seven small ALIVE put into stacking.

I also have an appointment with a doctor to renew my recognition as a disabled worker. This process has to be done every year, as if a disability could suddenly disappear as time goes by.

In reality, this system mainly allows the state to regularly check files and identify possible fraud. Unfortunately, some people manage to obtain disability cards or related benefits without truly being entitled to them. Corruption can exist everywhere: in administration, among some doctors, or through falsified medical documents. I personally find that quite shameful.

As for me, the process has become almost routine. Every year, I schedule an appointment with my general practitioner, who then refers me to a specialist. The specialist signs the documents, and I submit them to the Departmental House for Disabled Persons.
After all these years, I know the whole process by heart.
