Every second I spend on other "social" networks sees me get fed advertising, rage bait, and a deep, deep disdain for what the Internet has become.
When I spend time on HIVE, I am reminded of the "old" Internet. Made up of organic, regular human beings. It is a place that doesn't fill me with the threat of rage, and a narrative controlled by corporates.
I can still (easily) see what the little people find to be special, beyond the single-sentence status updates of everything else.
