Uniswap Develops Interface to Facilitate One Step ERC-20 Token Donation To Ukrainian Government

Crypto community have been especially forthcoming when it comes to the funds raising campaign by Ukrainian Government amid the ongoing Ukraine Russia war. In an effort to bolster Ukrainian fundraising campaign, decentralized exchange Uniswap have launched a new interface that allows conversion of ERC-20 tokens to Ethereum and automatically transfers them to the official crypto wallet addresses of the Ukrainian government.

As per Uniswap since the wallet addresses by Ukrainian government belong to a centralized exchange that only accepts USDT and Eth, so the tool will help anyone holding ERC-20 tokens to donate in a single step, without going through the painstaking token swaping and transferring steps.

It has been estimated that the Ukrainian Government and non-profit organizations have received more than $53 million in crypto donations so far. As the fund raising effort intensifies, Ukrainian government is expanding its reach to crypto community by accepting a variety of tokens. Two days ago after making Polkadot acceptable for donation, $5.3 million DOT tokens were donated by Polkadot's co-founder. And today announcement came that even the meme coin Doge donations are also accepted.

The tool rolled out by Uniswap will be a huge help to the Ukrainian fundraising effort, as it will allow a variety of ERC-20 token holders to donate without the any hassle.
