McDonald's app not working just when you want to buy something, sounds familiar? (Update: found fix)

Kennt ihr das auch, ihr wollt bei McDonald's (McCafé) etwas kaufen, und just wenn ihr an der Kasse seid, funktioniert die App nicht? Murphy's Law.

Seit gestern hat die App aber komplett den Dienst eingestellt. Bekomme, wenn ich die App starte, immer die Fehlermeldung "No network found", obwohl ich Internet habe, auch mehrere WLANs getestet, Phone neu gestartet. Gleiches Problem.

Die App ist notwendig, um Punkte zu sammeln und Angebote zu bekommen. Ach, was waren das für Zeiten, wo man noch eine physische Kundenkarte hatte und sich nicht mit den Apps herumschlagen musste.

Andererseits bietet die App mehr Vorteile, Angebote, man sieht sofort den aktuellen Punktestand und über die Loyalty-App werden auch Gewinnspiele etc. durchgeführt und man kann sogar online bestellen.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Verwendet ihr die McDonald's App oder andere Kundenbindungs-Apps? Habt ihr ähnliche Probleme mit der App auch schon gehabt?

Habe einen Fix gefunden, musste die App deinstallieren und neu installieren, jetzt geht die App wieder ohne den Netzwerkfehler. Seltsam.

Have you ever wanted to buy something at McDonald's (McCafé) and just when you want to order, the app doesn't work any more? Murphy's Law.

Since yesterday the app has stopped working completely. When I start the app, I always get the error message "No network found", even though I have Internet, tested several WiFi, restarted the phone. Same problem.

The app is necessary to collect points and get offers. Oh, what were those days when you still had a physical loyalty card and didn't have to bother with apps.

On the other hand, the app offers more benefits, special offers, you can see your current points balance immediately and giveaways are also held via the loyalty app and you can even order online.

What do you think? Do you use the McDonald's app or other customer loyalty apps? Have you had similar problems with the McDonald's app?

Update

Found a fix, had to uninstall and reinstall the app, now the app works again without the network error. Strange.

Komisch. 😐 Vielleicht ein Bug wo in Kürze ein Update kommt?
Ich benutze die App auch regelmäßig aber bisher hat das immer gut geklappt. Schöne Rabatte über die Coupons. 🍟

I had this problem several times and it's was annoying me. But since McDonald's left country I haven't this problem. But honestly somewhere in my heart I hope once they'll be back with working app and new menu🙃 🤞🤞🤞

Very frustrating dealing with app issues brother, especially when you're just trying to order. I think the discounts are great when it works. Hopefully, they fix it soon. Hehehe anything that can go wrong will go wrong

I haven't gotten far enough with Fast food to have to download the app.

I'm old fashioned and just go order my food myself.

Been there and done that... Every now and again it just doesn't work. I tend avoid McDonald's coffee, there are usually better tasting options out there, but McD's is cheap!

i tried to used the apps once to get a discount in buying hamburger.

Ich benutze solche Apps nicht, hab´ auch keine Jö-karte. Damit wirst Du (bzw. Deine Daten und Vorlieben, etc.) zum Produkt.

Yep, man gibt seine Daten preis, dafür bekommt man Angebote und Goodies, kann man machen, muss man aber nicht.

McDonalds nutze ich nicht, lohnt nicht, da ich gefühlt nur einmal im Jahr da bin, wenn nicht gar seltener. Dann eher bei BK.

Ich nutze ansonsten so ziemlich alles was es so gibt.

Edeka, penny, netto, payback.....

Hauptsächlich Edeka mit Deutschland Card.

It sounds like a weird error but I think it's quite common to see things stop working for a bit. I am glad that a reinstall solved things.

Probably it is just a temporary shutdown I strongly believe it will bounce back to start working
