Hiking in Vienna 🌸 (How to recognize a real German Chamomile?)
Habe beim Wandern diese coole Pflanze entdeckt, dachte zuerst es wäre ein Gänseblümchen, dann habe ich die KI gefragt und diese denkt es wäre eine Kamille (German Chamomile).
Mittlerweile denke ich aber es ist eher eine Geruchlose Kamille (Tripleurospermum inodorum) oder eine Anacyclus clavatus (Keulen-Bertram, Camomilla tomentosa), da sie nicht so riecht wie eine Echte Kamille.
Habe mir jetzt mental einen neuen Bucket-List-Eintrag notiert, möchte eine Echte Kamille finden :)
Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr schon mal eine Echte Kamille in der Natur entdeckt?
Chamomile or something else? German chamomile can be distinguished by its smell. Plant in the photo could be a Tripleurospermum inodorum or Anacyclus clavatus or something similar.

Found this cool plant while hiking, first thought it was a daisy, then I asked the AI and she thinks it is a Chamomile (German Chamomile).
In the meantime I think it is more likely an Odorless Chamomile (Tripleurospermum inodorum) or an Anacyclus clavatus (Club Berry, Camomilla tomentosa), because it doesn't smell like a true Chamomile.
I have now mentally noted a new bucket list item, would like to find a true German Chamomile :)
What do you guys think? Have you ever discovered a real German chamomile in nature?

No I have not seen. Chamomile and daisy have a big difference that is lying in the arrangements of petals. Daisy have multiple layer of petals and chemomile have single layer of petals.

Welche KI fragst du zur Bestimmung von Pflanzen? gibt ja heute chatgpt, so wie auch andere apps auf dem Handy, wo man easy Bild hochstellen kann von der Pflanze.
Gestern habe ich eine Edelkamille gefunden! sie war noch sehr klein, daher habe ich noch nichts gepflückt. Allerdings brauche ich bei Kamille noch Beirat, denn es gibt einige solcher Pflanzen, die soo ähnlich aussehen.
Gänseblümchen ist jedoch sehr einfach, weil die wirklich nur bodennah wachsen und meistens auf Wiesen.

Verwende die Reverse-Bildersuch-KI von Google und Bing, funktionieren mittlerweile sehr gut, um auch Pflanzen zu erkennen, aber leider nicht 100% genau, da viele Pflanzen sehr ähnlich aussehen, sind auch für Menschen mit nur einem Foto ohne Riechtest schwer zu unterscheiden. Denke man kann in der Natur extrem viele Arten entdecken, wenn man sich länger damit beschäftigt.

Ja, ich habe als Kind sogar echte Kamille getrocknet und Tee davon gemacht.
