Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Dec 2 - Dec 8) + Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, happy December to all. We are leading up to festive seasons, hope everyone is looking forward to that. Today I will be bringing you my Splinterlands journey CP growth and also a brawl report on the recent brawl for PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update.

Gladius Pack

I have accumulated 5 Gladius pack through the reward chest and also brawl rewards. Planning to open when I hit 8 packs to increase the chances of getting cards that I want to get.

Delta to Silver 2: 19015

Ok something is not right, the cards are not coming in. Even feels like a drought. Somehow, more SPS are gotten more often instead of cards. Hope during next week EOS, I will be able to get more cards to improve my CP.

Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Another match that I fielded Gladius but my opponent don't. I am surprised that opponent chose to use Crypt Beetle.

Outcome: Win! Speed is key, my side struck first and grew in blood lust before opponent can hit back.

Tough decision but I decided to go with Water instead of Fire.

Outcome: Win! 3 in a row woohoo! Isgald charging forth!

Noxious fumes, but no Harklaw, so I go for fast speed and hope to take out my opponent before he does.

Outcome: Win! Speed is king when we do not have anything to outlast. Thaddius Brood skill also helped to make it easier for opponent cards to die to noxious fumes too.

I see Marisol. Another very impressive card, though Quora still much stronger.

Outcome: Lost. Marisol is really strong and actually very fast. It just keep growing till nothing my lineup can do anything about it.

Rift Watchers lineup with Jacek, looks intimidating. First time seeing this, but let's see if having Katrelba can turn the tide.

Outcome: Win! Katrelba is key performer with everyone else chipping in and bringing down the remaining cards to secure the win.

Final match, should be able to pull through. Queen Mycelia's protect should help buy enough time for my lineup to do sufficient damage.

Outcome: Win! The additional armour from Queen Mycelia was indeed the key to victory.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 7 matches this brawl, won 6 and lost 1. Very glad to achieve this especially I didn't do as well last brawl.

We came back stronger from the last brawl, moving from third place to first place. Great job everyone, keep up the good work. Go PIZZA 2!!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
There are many lesson learnt how to manoeuvre in this journey, adapting to new cards, game play changes, penalties to earning etc. But all are for the progress of the game and I will treat this as a learning process. And this is what kept me going!
