5 Minute Freewrite - In My Line of Sight

Doing a challenge on 5 minute Freewrite, please see below for my story:

The sun had just set and the stars were slowly lighting up the night sky. I was alone in my backyard, admiring the beauty of the evening.

Suddenly, something in my line of sight caught my attention. It was faint at first, but as I squinted my eyes I could make out a faint outline of a figure. It was a woman, looking up at the stars.

I couldn't help but feel a strange connection to her. I felt as if I had known her for years, even though I had never met her before. She had a peaceful look on her face as she gazed up into the night sky.

As I watched her, I began to feel an inexplicable need to talk to her about life, and to tell her my secrets. I wanted her to understand me, and to be a confidant who I could share my thoughts and feelings with.

My heart raced as I stepped closer to her, but before I could reach out and speak to her, she suddenly vanished. I was left standing in my backyard, alone with my thoughts.

That night, I went to bed feeling both relieved and disappointed. I was relieved to know that my instinct was right, that someone out there could understand me, but disappointed that I never had the chance to tell her my story.
