Due to its rich history and monetary value, gold is respected all over the world and in India we even worship it. Unlike nation's paper #currency, #crypto, or other assets, gold has maintained its preciousness throughout the ages. I once read somewhere that "Gold is the #money. Everything else is credit." If you understand the depth of this one sentence then you will start feeling more confident and secure in investing in gold than any other asset.

Well, I have not come here today to enumerate the benefits of investing in gold because this is not a hidden truth. #Investing in gold provides you protection from almost every uncertainty. Be it the fear of inflation or protection from deflation, global conflict or portfolio diversification, investing in gold guarantees your security. And the elders of our house know and understand this very well, perhaps that is why they consider it good to buy gold on auspicious occasions.

But in today's times of #inflation, buying and keeping physical gold may not be that easy for everyone. But thanks to technological evolution, now many ways of investing and trading in gold are easily available.
One of which is a Gold ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) which is similar to buying physical gold except that you do not actually buy the physical gold. Instead, the gold purchased is stored in your demat account and one good advantage of all these ways is that you can easily buy and sell it whenever you want sitting at home. Similarly, gold mutual funds, gold bonds, gold futures and one of my favourites, digital #gold, are also ways to invest in gold the way you want.

I don't know how it works in other countries, but in India, any amount of digital gold can be bought on Paytm and some similar apps with the help of #UPI (Unified Payment Interface) in just a few seconds. You can also automate a fixed amount for a fixed date. Suppose you want to buy gold worth Rs 5000 every month and if you feel that you will not be able to make this investment consistently yourself, then you can automate your investment by choosing your investment amount and a day. It will work like any other #SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) the best thing about this investment method is that the gold purchased by you will be safe in your digital locker on the Paytm app which you can check whenever you want and in case you want to keep that gold physically, you can also take its delivery anytime.

I started this blog to write weekly technical analyses of gold but then after writing a few sentences I realized that investing in gold is more important than trading, so why not give you information related to investing in it?
