DON'T BE DECEIVE BY MERE LOOKS & IMPRESSIONS
Happy new week amazing people...
Is obvious people pretend to impress, in a world where people live a lie instead of the truth...most at times we judge or criticize base on their looks unknowingly to us that either the person is an angel or a demon in human form not all that appears to be good are good and not all that appears to be bad are actually bad... individuals fake attitude for their selfish interest. Like the popular saying that goes not all that glitters are gold, even when it comes to material things some of the things we bought in the market thinking is the best might actually turns out the opposite.
I will share two stories about two people I came in contact with...
There is this guy named peter. tall, handsome, he looks innocent, outspoken and he speaks a very good English infact anytime he speaks people are thrilled by his choice of words, his words are so alluring many wish to speak and be like him. The first time he came to church that was bible study he contributed wonderfully, he prayed loud and awesomely. many youth wished for him to be our youth president because of his first impression, is like love at first sight many even me too were impressed...after the service we held a youth meeting we requested every youth should wait both new and old. So he was among the people that waited during the meeting he performed thesame magic he did before fortunately for us we were looking for a new youth leader, peter was among the people that was nominated and he won against the old members practically everybody wanted him they believed strongly that he will deliver effectively...this guy was new and no body knew much about him apart from been a student practically all the youths there are students but because of his first impression everyone believed strongly that he is godly and perfect for the post as a youth president, everybody were so happy including me of the elected youth leader the guy too was happy. No body taught it was weird to elect him, someone who is new and knew nothing about the group... suddenly as a first timer in church became the youth leader, few weeks later instead of positive changes in the group we noticed negative changes and wrong behavior there was something strange about his attitude he is so authoritative, proud, rude and commanding. we also find out that he was living with a lady, he got her pregnant and abort the baby the secret was leak and reached the church headquarter before they could penalize him he resigned from been the youth leader...
the youths were in awe, surprised and disappointed of what he did we also find out that he was a chronic womanizer he do asked some ladies out even in the church too myself and my elder sister was among the people he asked out but we turned him down.
After four years of graduation he served (NYSC) and came back for his mastering degree just about to round up we find out that peter was a Cultist in school he was the head of the gang and cultism is against our School rules in the university, there was a clash among the cultist and they stabbed a student unfortunately he died. so investigations were made and they find out that peter was among them they were wanted by the school authorities and police. his pictures and his gangs where place everywhere in the school though been popular and connected in school but his connection could not save him he was arrested and expel from school till date no body knows or heard anything about him. No body expected him to be that way, what he Expressed was totally different from what he was actually doing...we really learned from our mistake about first impression.
My roommate Elizabeth who looks so wicked by her personality, one will be scared to come close to her. But after staying with her for one year I realized she is the nicest of us all...a lady with a beautiful soul so cheerful and nice to be with.
Indeed looks can be so decieving, like this popular saying, never judge a book by its cover is actually true we should be more careful on how we judge people. Thanks for reading through my blog bye for now.
Beautiful charismatic people are the ones I think I judge the most. They can be the best or they can be the worst and if they are intelligent they can be the hardest to judge and the best to deceive.

It's a pleasure
The story of Peter reminds me of someone similar to him in my university. This person is also very calm and kind until I found out that he is a cultist, it's truly amazing the way people like that can hide their true nature

Sometimes, looks like can be deceiving and we may be right or wrong, but we learn from lessons. Peter showed himself as a real and serious being to be elected as a youth leader but you guys were swept off feet in the opposite after knowing the kind of person he was, even after having the impression that he was good and fit for the post.
Some people pretend just to achieve their aim over something and once they get it, they reveal the real self in them.
Pretence is everyday thing either good or bad, no matter how bad things might be is good for one to be honest no matter what, be truthful to yourself, to God and to man...the world would have been a better place if there is no deceit. Thank you for stopping by...
