It's with great pleasure that I am welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you have been doing well. I want to share with you some details on why are things always costly during the last month of the year in my country Nigeria.

I don't know the situation about the others countries during the festive period especially when the Christmas celebration is approaching. But in my country, things are always expensive during this period and it's been happening for a long-term if am not mistakenly.

Christmas is a festive season and the celebration during this period is always what I love to witness every year. People from long distance usually comes home to rejoice with their family after a long time. But shouldn't this period be a time to make things easier for people? I have been asking myself this question for a while now since I knew that my voice can't even be hear by the so called government.

I believe that the inflation rate during this period does not have any effect on the wealthy people since they have more than enough and most of the gas station are owned by , but what about we average individual in which we find it tough to have three meals daily or provide for the family. I believe that this just an act of wickedness from government to its people. This issues has been happening every year and instead of finding the solution to the issue, all they do is to make money for themselves since they have seen the situation as an opportunity for years.

What Really Caused This Inflation Prior To The Year Ending?

I weigh the situation many times and realized that what actually caused this inflation is the fuel scarcity which happens towards the year ending every year, even sometimes till the month of January. Due to fuel scarcity around this festive season, the cost of transportation becomes expensive, and they utilize this opportunity by selling at fuel at high price because they owned all the so called fuel stations, and since they know that every individual will be willingly want to travel home to celebrate with their families.

Why is the government trying to punish her people's is what really I don't understand because we are blessed with the crude oil in this country and I believe we don't have the reason to suffer because of fuel.

Fuel price hiking has been the issue of my country for many years because the price of fuel keep changing to worse everytime new government comes in to position and I believe this should be resolved soon for the economy of the country to become stable and this will help everyone to better manage their finances.
