An Escape from Stressful Reality

Nature is free and always will be.

My wife and I are Nature lovers and we prefer passing time by on a place like this one on the pictures.

It was a holiday and I agreed that wife should go home early to go somewhere. The place was a surprise and the wife was intrigued. She made guesses but didn't hit since we never had been here together before.

The wife assumed we are going to Lawis Grand Canyon which we had been talking the days before but she was close to guess it!

Minsoro Cliffs were on the same canyon but lower(since the water in the river flows going to that direction). While on Minsoro cliffs, we could see the Lawis grand canyon from there.

The wife arrived too early; I had an unforeseen seminar that day causing delay but was still in the right timing since it was still pretty hot out. One my seminar was over, we hurried to surprise. She wanted to take the kids but our walk was too dangerous for them.

We stood one meter by the cliff and when I looked down, it was as if the cliff vacuumed me! Or perhaps it was just only my imagination and my nape heated a lot. So we moved more carefully as we took pictures by the cliff

It was sad that we were not able to bring food or water. The hotness of the sun and the hot air that damped on our skin made us dehydrated almost instantly and we both got thirsty. Yet we stayed until we could take it; the view is s stunning to leave immediately.

During our stay, we saw people pass by, looked down the cliff and got scared then some took pictures too. The Wild sunflowers saved us from sun's heat by providing shade enough for us both while seated on the rocks by the cliff.

After almost an hour, we decided to go home and during our stay we were both refreshed from all the stress that we had carried on our hearts. We got time to enjoy each other's company alone, just like we had before the kids arrived. Life tightened as we had kids, our attention is now focused on them and very little fo us both. I miss those days when all we acre was each other alone. I love my kids and don't get me wrong.

Nature is indeed the best healer!

Beautiful pictures in a beautiful canyon. I remember our undiscovered place in the mountain. If you’re scared with heights, don’t dare. 🤣

You and your wife had a great time on vacation, and seeing your photographs shows that you were very happy. It is quite a pity that you could not bring any food and water with you. Every day we have to be busy with various activities and taking some time out of this busy time to go somewhere is actually a great feeling and refreshing process. Best wishes to you.
