BlockTunes 1.2.1 Update - New Artist Central Page - Form Updates - Bug Fixes

Hello everyone. This post is to discuss some updates to the BlockTunes platform. This update contains a new central location for artists and labels to find their services, store manager, and more.

We also fixed a couple of small issues and improved a couple of our forms.

So let's get into the update information.

Artist Central

The Artist Central page is shown to registered artists on the BlockTunes platform. This new page is where all of the artist and label services will be coming together.

Currently this is where you will find the BlockTunes Release Submission service, your artist store manager dashboard, our artist and label website services provided by The Logical Dude, LLC, and our mixing and mastering services provided by Groove Logic Productions.

As we add internal and external services, we will be adding them into this central location.

The Artist Central page can be found under the 'My Account' drop down menu as shown in the image below.

With the Artist Central page, we also added information pages for both the artist and label website services as well as the mixing and mastering services information pages.

Form Update

We made a couple of small changes to the BlockTunes Release Submission form in where the cover art upload form was not showing. This issue was easily solved by replacing the drag and drop piece of the form.

Bug Fixes

Not really so much a bug, but fixed an issue where downloadable product files will now auto complete after payment has been received. This saves from the purchaser having to wait on us to complete a sale on the backend before they receive their downloads.

The only problem this causes is with the WooCommerce and NFT/BEP-20 token integration. With this new fix, it sends the order directly from pending to complete and skips the processing portion, which the NFT and token sending functions need to work.

So with this, if you place an order for one of the governance token packages or the bTUNES token from the website, we will have to manually process this order on the backend for the tokens to be sent. You will have access to any downloadable products in the meantime.

This DOES NOT effect the OpenTunes or the Royalty Free License NFT collections, only the WooCommerce functionality.

That is the conclusion of this BlockTunes update.
