Summer Citrus Mirage Hazy DIPA from Stewart Brewing.
Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.
It's Saturday Sunday , but it's #beersaturday, and I had a beer on Saturday, and it would be rude not to share!
It is summer and we get the occasional warm day so a citrus beer is in order.
An appropriate beer for the warm weather!
I tend to keep a couple of cans of this beer in the fridge...
Citrus Mirage Hazy DIPA from Stewart Brewing.
It is a local brew , and packs a fruity 7.0% ABV!
Oh look the glass casts a cool looking shadow!
As you can see from the top of the can, the brewery is in Edinburgh. Well actually it is a small town on the outskirts of Edinburgh called Loanhead. There are quite a few villages and small towns in that area like Lasswade where I used to live as a child, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik so it is an area I know very well.
Whenever I have some of it, I am taken back through that Hazy Mirage of time lol!
Joking aside, it is a great pint for me when I want something thirst quenching!
It does pour up a nice wee froth foam, and I do like it in the bulb type glass to get that full citrus aroma!
The first pint just flows down so well. It is a trouble not necking it in a couple of long swigs lol!
Anyway, it is half time in the football...
Who will win, I hope it is Spain, as Mrs T gets a day off work if they win!

That's a cool can. I'll pass on the beer. I hurt my back this weekend, so I have been taking medication instead of drinking!
Yeah they do have some fun looking cans in their range. Ouch having had arthritis in my spine and all connecting joints for 50 years I can tell you the best pain medication is alcohol ;) Seriously though, I hope you are feeling better.
I told my wife the other day I can understand why people get addicted to pain meds. The constant pain was horrible!

The can does look good and it tastes even better. Would be a perfect drink for down in the sea Nancy! Yeas Spain win so an extra days holiday yesterday was very much fun! A big Tuesday hug all the way to Venezuela querida!

Honestly, this drink is pure temptation especially as you mentioned it has a fruity taste. 😂 I'd have loved to have just a sip, sadly, you can't find it here.

Now that beer looks and sounds good. Been enjoying a beer every now and then on my back patio even though it is hot outside. A cold beer seems to taste better in the heat :)
It tasted good I have to confess Joe, the second one was great too! Ah there is nothing better than a cool beer when you are sitting outside watching the world go by!
All those flavours sound like the type of beer I'd love, and I'd probably down it all farily quick, but with 7% ABV I'd be drunk before I know it!
They make for a great combination, and yes it is too smooth. The first sip ends up being half a pint lol, so before you know it you are tipsy haha! Joking aside it is a tasty summer drink.
