Exploring the roadside beauty in an amazing bus journey
Greeting from Beijing China!
Beijing is a big city, In reality, if we consider or compare it with other municipalities or cities, then I would like to say it is one of the largest in the world in terms of size, though its population number is not too high to compete in the list. I have been living here for more than 4 years now, and I couldn't manage to visit some of the farthest locations which are more beautiful, more attractive and closer to nature.
Undoubtedly, I can say Beijing has more forest area in comparison to any other mega city like it, and the area where I am living, the north-eastern area, is likely to be a place of forests than any other city component. The northern districts, like Huairou, Miyun, Yanqing, and Changping, have more forests and mountains than other parts of the Beijing Municipal.
In my 4 years of living, I have visited most of the northern part near my living place, Huairou, which is a completely tourist-oriented district, and has the farthest northern area of Beijing. Even I have not visited such places so far, except some places around 50/60 km north of the Huairou city center. The good thing is that public transportation is pretty good here for visiting any corner of the city.
Most of the time, I use public transport to visit any area. There are many good things about the public transport here which make these journeys very convenient.
Firstly, there are available routes to any further point of the city where you can get a tourist spot. Moreover, there are so many special public bus routes for only the tourist spot where the metro is unable to cover. There are some long routes that can take around 5/6 hours, and only two or three buses go to that rare destination.
Secondly, the timing of the public transport is very convenient as it starts very early in the morning. Most subways start at 6:00 am in the morning, and public buses start around 4/5 am in the early morning. However, a little bit of trouble can occur for some distant locations from where the last trip can be in the late afternoon, 5/6 pm. But you can get taxis or some other kind of shared taxis at any time from any place throughout the city.
Many times I have visited the city center from my living place by bus and subway, and I have almost finished my visit to most of the natural scenic spots and some top tourist destinations such as the Forbidden Kingdom, several numbers of temples, the national museum, Beijing zoos and many parks already. All of these are just located around the city center, and transportation is much simpler.
During my COVID days, I could not make journeys often, but now there are no restrictions or issues with any traveling. So, I have again started traveling to places that are not inside the city but are in the farthest location from the city.
As per my plan, I visited the Changping district for an experiential trip to some locations. It was more than 60 km from the Huairou district, and the road was just like the one on top north of Beijing, which is a trip by public bus.
The whole journey was a fantastic one because of the roadside views of the mountains and the forest area with many mountain villages. I have also checked some locations surrounding the map that I am going to visit in the future.
Thank you very much for your time and attention. I hope to catch you at the next.
I wish you a great day.
Dear my bro @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I thought Beijing would still be cold!
I felt you were living in a space without people!
The barren fields of Beijing without grass and flowers look gloomy compared to Bangladesh!
I wonder how you feel about Beijing.
I love the vastness of Beijing, but I don't like the bitter cold winter winds, summer heat, air pollution, and lack of potable fresh water.
Yeah, still no summer, but temperature has increased a lot. Nowadays, temperature js around 20 degree centigrade during day time and 12/14 at night.
I'm curious about summer in Beijing!
I think the climate in mainland China is harsh!😃
