Labor Day is Nail Day

Today is a Holiday here in the Philippines for the celebration of Labor Day. We stayed the whole morning doing chores in the house. Before lunch my mother took our son to my fathers house, so we have a free time the whole afternoon.

This is how the town looks like during day time ,since it's very hot not much people is around.

So me and my wife decided to go to town to get a pedicure. haha. Maybe he saw that you can already plant sweet potato in my toe nails. I I think we need it too for us to relax a little bit.

It's really hot outside. Good thing the parlor where we went have their own air-condition , so we don't mind waiting. This is always the place that we go for this service because my wife loves how they clean her toes. And not only that the manicurist have a lot of funny stories.

Removing the dirt and excess nail is a very satisfying feeling.

So after about 20 minutes, It's finally done and look at my nails they are now pinkish and shiny. The owner told me that I should also try the foot spa to relax more, but maybe next time I'll try that.

Before going home we first went to the market to get some quarter legs for our dinner. As always my wife will do the marinating and I do the cooking.

So here it is again, home made version of Inasal, cooked in my improvised grill.
