Beach and Ice Cream

As a person living in the highlands, my family's favorite get away whenever we have time is the beach. I guess were lucky to have access to both the beach and the mountains. Having both to visit have many perks. Instead of just staying at home doing nothing ,we prefer going out and having some time with nature.

We visited one public resort here in San Fernando La Union, it's our first time here, and I guess this is one of the nicest beachea we visited.

The sand is realy fine and the sorrounding is clean given that it us a public beach. And one of the things that we liked is a coast guard barracks is just beside the beach making it a more safe place to stay.

A shade was made by locals where visitors can have a rest from the sun. This is where the kids stayed when they were playing with the sand.

And as always our son enjoyed playing, hes now also a certified beach person. Teaching him to swim at a young age is something I want to do, I kniw this skill can be very useful.

We just stayed at the beach for a couple of hours since we did not bring much food. So after eating our snacks we went home.

On our way home we saw a sorbetes vendor along the road, it is so hot and the ice cream is a life saver.hehe. The truth is we just want to eat something cold to compensate the heat.

The ice cream has two flavors, coconut and cheese. We tried both flavor.

And because of this we ent home happy because we were able to eat our cravings. Actually everytime we go in the lowlands we always try to find local ice cream being sold. They're a lot tastier than those commercially made.
