Three tune Tuesday and so what I got a thing for female driven pop music....

@ablaze has been doing 3 tune Tuesday for quite a while and we love the idea of it and some of the posts @stickupmusic has been doing it but I though I would join in too. it is a great way to listen to new music which is always something we want to do!
Our picks
This week we are all about the Female fronted pop....I mean some of the best pop ever is by solo female artists and we just love it, there was a golden age in the late ninetees going into the teens! So many great artists to choose from, really spoiled for choice from that era and I might carry this on next week. I am gonna have a listen and think about what it makes me feel this time instead of a production breakdown.... except if there are cool drums or an awesome bass dive...I can't help it!

What a song, what a singer, if this does not make you feel alive then I am not sure what will except 1000v volts injected straight in the mainline.... big drums, a free vocal and a build that makes the pyramids look easy... come on give it a listen! I am listening to it right now and I feel amazing....just gives me the tingles...

Is this pop, rap, hip hope, grime? I don't know but it has one of the best bass dives ever on a song! She really is a diva and her delivery is always spot on and definite. There is no messing with this song that is for sure. I love the little refrain as well which just works in an odd way that I cannot quite work out why? I mean she even throws in a little Queen reference just for good measure. Now this song might not make you feel invogorated like Flo, but it does make me feel like I can cope with the world today!

It is old now but this was a go to party getting ready song right? I mean perfectly crafted pop tune with some very cool production on it, subtle some of it but this is a very detailed piece of work that is for sure. Delivered by Pink flawlessly and it really makes you feel like you ready to go out and have a good time. In fact it is morning here now but I might just start getting ready to go out....

Totally agree boyz. Female fronted pop is very awesome. It's great to see a highlight of strong female artists, especially from the late 90s/early 2000s. There were so many iconic singers back then🥰🥰🥰

I do like a good female vocalist although I don't go for so much mainstream pop. I do suspect that every note and beat is hand polished by a team of dozens with the big acts :)
