Hey, Savers!

I think sometimes it's really important to find your focus and concentrate all your energies on achieving your goal. Then look at the results, redefine or confirm the focus, and move on. I've never believed in multitasking when it comes to really important things.

We don't see a car racer with a bottle of beer in his hand on the track or listening to music during a race, do we?

After all, it's vital for him to focus and be in focus the whole time.

But the speed of life constantly pushes us to rush and sometimes decide to multitask or complete our tasks, sacrificing quality, attention or duration. And as we know, at high speed the road gets narrow, and the picture gets blurry...

And the colors could be brighter the whole time!

The only problem I see with focusing is diversification.

Two important actions contradict each other, in my opinion. One can of course focus on diversification or diversify one's attention. But then you could cross out everything I wrote above.

Fortunately, in Hive savings, we can partially solve these problems. Services that contain a lot of properties really allow for less atomization and diversification at the same time.

Let's say here I store and accumulate some coins from other blockchains. So I focus only on Hive and continue to diversify within Hive. It's not ideal, but it saves me a lot of time and fees, which I don't have here.

Hive's liquidity pools allow me to earn up to 100% APR right now, which no other country's banks do! Even with the impermanent losses that everyone fears, it's not a bad amount. By focusing on this, you can grow from zero very quickly. After all, blogging about savings and great growth will pay off, too.

There are actually tons of ideas for growth here! It seems you just have to research, focus, and choose what's right for you!

Now for the numbers! Today is my 23rd week of savings. Let's go!

Primary Goal

My primary goal is 100,000 HP. But I decided to track it in 10,000 HP increments, so that's the number I want to see by the end of 2023.

This week, my HP went up 37 HP from 1598 to 1635. Right now, I'm trying to focus on my writing goals, so I sometimes sacrifice payouts. I, like everyone else here, know what posts I should sometimes write to make money. But my goal right now lies just beyond the 7-day payout. Let's see if I succeed with what I have in mind!

Secondary Goal

Secondary goal is 7,000 AP. For this week, my AP went up 116 ALIVE from 5360 to 5476 AP. The completion rate at this point is 78%. This is really where my focus has been for the last year or so. And as practice has shown, it really pays off! And besides, I do it with great pleasure. ALIVE pleases me every day now!

The overall percentage on all my targets went up 0.61% from 31.94% to 32.55%. And this is where I have to work on my focus and diversify at the same time. It's not an easy task, but I'm working on it. There are some ideas that should work!

Starting to saving is easy, setting goals and following them is fun. At the end of the road, there is a prize waiting for us, which we will choose for ourselves. And it's not even about the money. It's about what you do next. Who you help and who you make happier.

Great progress on your Hive Goals there Alexandr, and really interesting thoughts about focus, when it comes to tasks it even has a name, singletasking, and yes that works best for me as well, I only multitask when I can start a script to run by it's own and then do another task in the meantime, enjoy your weekend and stay !ALIVE

Wow, I didn't know about single-tasking 😁. I mean, I do it, I didn't know it had a name. I've always been averse to the multi-tasking concept, I dislike being interrupted 😂. When I started in web 2.0, the big thing was multi-tasking, like it was a good thing. What a terrible con!

Yeah I try to singletask as much as I can as it's more productive, and yeah just Google the word, it's a known concept and I think there was also a famous ebook about it too.

Proper focus is exceedingly important in the realization of goals. I find myself redefining what is most significant quite often, and then refocusing my efforts. There is so much amazing stuff going on here on Hive that focus can indeed be challenging! I think you're doing very well indeed here Alexandr! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
