An Inspiring Journey: Meeting Young Vlogger Geloven Gumata ❤️

Today, I'm eager to share an extraordinary encounter that left me with a heart full of inspiration. It's a tale of adventure, getting lost, and ultimately meeting a young vlogger who embodies the spirit of financial responsibility and investing in the most heartwarming way.

It all began when I decided to meet with Geloven Gumata, a famous young vlogger from our town Barugo, Leyte. I felt compelled to have a face-to-face conversation with him, and little did I know how transformative this meeting would be.

The journey to reach Geloven's place in Pongso commenced around past 10 AM. What I didn't anticipate was the discovery that Pongso is a bit farther from my home than expected. It was the first time my younger brother and I embarked on this adventure, and we were completely unaware of what lay ahead.

At first, we found ourselves lost, uncertain of the way. But in true Filipino spirit, we asked for guidance from the kind souls we met on the road. The path to Pongso, it turned out, wasn't a simple one. It involved rocky roads and a river crossing. Thankfully, the river's water level was manageable, but our motorcycle couldn't make the journey. So, I decided to venture alone to Geloven's house.

To my relief, a kind-hearted man came to my aid and offered me a ride on his motorcycle. He dropped me off in front of Geloven's home, where I was greeted by the laughter of children playing in the yard. Geloven's mother, with her warm smile, welcomed me and ushered me inside. She was in the midst of preparing lunch as we chatted.

Upon entering their home, I found Geloven still in bed. What struck me was his unexpected shyness in person, quite contrary to the confident young vlogger I'd seen in his videos. At that moment, his father was still away.

In the presence of Geloven, I couldn't resist the urge to snap a photo with him and his mother. Then, we delved into conversations about life and shared stories. It was during this exchange that I began discussing the importance of financial education and life insurance awareness.

I was overjoyed to see Geloven actively engage in our discussion. The reason I had reached out to him was because I had stumbled upon one of his vlogs where he talked about investing his earnings from vlogging into the MP2 of Pag-ibig. At such a young age, he was already considering his future and was determined to support his family.

What truly amazed me was Geloven's commitment to investing at his age. He, a member of Gen Z, was taking steps toward securing his financial future, setting an incredible example for his generation. After our enlightening discussion, his cheerful father arrived, and my brother joined us as well. Of course, we couldn't leave without capturing the moment at their famous rest area and vlogging site.

Before bidding our farewells, my brother took photos of me with Geloven, his father, and his mother. I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and fulfillment. I had met Geloven in person, shared valuable insights with him, and had the opportunity to advocate for financial education and life insurance.

This encounter reminded me of the power of reaching out to young minds and helping them understand the significance of financial literacy. It was a heartwarming experience, and I wish Geloven all the best in his journey and his vlogging career.
