The age transition that defines when one becomes an adult is one of the most important moments for each person and even in certain countries or cultures this becomes a true rite of passage, although nowadays it is just a change of number that often doesn't seem to make much difference. Maybe we'll get a party or something, but that's it.

Here in Brazil, at the age of 18 we become adults, we come of age and with it comes that feeling of being able to do whatever we want and that we are invincible. The world kneels before our new achievement, but in reality, it is just the beginning of new and insane challenges for our lives. I remember that with me and many other friends it was like that, at that age we started to achieve many things, thinking that we were the masters of the world.

This coming of age is a false illusion that everything we can't do will finally be done, that's not how it works. We have achieved many good things, that is true, but along with rights come the duties of an adult, more responsibilities and worries about so many things. All of this becomes even more complex when we create a family, we have children and their lives in our hands, a house to take care of, bills to pay and so on. I still think that this age of 18 is worse for men, who, like me, still take a little longer to truly have a sense of responsibility.

At times I think that 18 is still too early and I find it funny when some people reach that age and receive a car as a gift. Someone who just got out of fraud, who is now entering adulthood and one of the first things that happens is they get a car. I always found that a little irresponsible. Therefore, I keep thinking that the age to become an adult could be from 20 years old, because with another 2 years perhaps the head will get into rhythm and better understand that an adult usually has many more duties than rights and that is a bad thing. understand, like a bitter medicine that we have to take.

I'm not really one to focus on the gender war, I really avoid saying that men are more this or women are more that, but in this regard, from my own experience, I've always seen women mature their ideas and way of seeing the world earlier, so For them it seems that the age of 18 is really the correct age, but as said, for men it seems to be too early, so you give too much power to one gender that is too irresponsible.

Well, that's just what I've experienced, my experiences, but, deep down, I prefer to believe that age isn't really a question of maturity, it's all very relative and individual, it depends on each person. I've seen many people, teenagers, in fact, who had a surreal maturity and I'm talking about male and female genders who at the age of 14 or 15 already understood well how everything works, how life was and they were already thinking about studying, college, having a good job, raising a family and having children after achieving a certain financial stability, so even at a young age it is possible for some people to demonstrate this, to have a level of maturity that attracts attention.

Lastly, I've always been a little more mature than most of my friends, but obviously that hasn't stopped me from doing some irresponsible things here and there, but I think deep down, being a bit of a nerd has helped me understand better. things and understand that maturity comes from within and that age can even influence, but I think that what decides this is our mind, creation and character.

A transição de idade que define quando se torna um adulto é um dos momentos mais importantes para cada uma das pessoas e até mesmo em certos países ou culturas isso se torna um verdadeiro rito de passagem, apesar de que hoje em dia é apenas uma mudança de número que muitas vezes parece nem fazer muita diferença. Talvez ganhamos uma festa ou algo assim, mas, não passa disso.

Aqui no Brasil, com a idade de 18 anos nos tornamos adultos, assumimos a nossa maioridade e com ela vem aquela sensação de poder fazer o que quisermos e que somos invencíveis. O mundo se ajoelha perante a nossa nova conquista, mas, na realidade, é apenas o começo de novos e insanos desafios para a nossa vida. Lembro de que comigo e com muitos outros amigos foram assim, com essa idade começamos a realizar muitas coisas, achando que éramos os donos do mundo.

Essa maioridade é uma falsa ilusão de que tudo aquilo que não conseguimos fazer, será finalmente feito, não é assim que funciona. Conquistamos muitas coisas boas, isso é verdade, mas junto dos direitos vem os deveres de um adulto, mais responsabilidades e preocupações com tantas coisas. Tudo isso ainda fica mais complexo quando criamos uma família, temos filhos e suas vidas em nossas mãos, uma casa para cuidar, contas para pagar e por aí vai. Ainda penso que essa idade de 18 anos é pior para os homens, que assim como eu, ainda demoram mais um pouco para ter verdadeiramente uma noção de responsabilidade.

Em certos momentos penso que 18 anos ainda é algo muito cedo e acho engraçado quando alguns completam essa idade e ganham um carro de presente. Alguém que acabou de sair das fraudas, que está entrando agora na vida adulta e uma das primeiras coisas que acontece é ela ganhar um carro. Sempre achei um pouco irresponsável isso. Portando fico pensando que a idade para se tornar adulto, poderia ser a partir dos 20 anos, pois com mais 2 anos talvez a cabeça entre no ritmo e entenda melhor que um adulto costuma ter muito mais deveres do que direitos e isso é algo ruim de entender, como um remédio amargo que temos que tomar.

Não sou muito de focar na guerra de gêneros, eu realmente evito falar que homem é mais isso ou mulher é mais aquilo, mas neste quesito, como experiência própria, sempre vi as mulheres amadurecerem suas ideias e forma de ver o mundo mais cedo, então para elas parece que a idade de 18 anos é realmente a idade correta, mas como dito, para os homens parece ser cedo demais, então você dá poder demais para um gênero irresponsável demais.

Bem, isso é apenas o que vivi, minhas experiências, mas, no fundo, prefiro acreditar que idade não é bem questão de maturidade, é tudo muito relativo e individual, depende de cada pessoa. Já vi muitas pessoas, adolescente, na verdade, que tinham uma maturidade surreal e falo de gêneros masculino e feminino que com 14 ou 15 anos já entendiam bem como tudo funciona, como a vida era e eles já pensavam em estudar, faculdade, ter um bom emprego, criar uma família e ter filhos após obter uma certa estabilidade financeira, então mesmo com a pouca idade é possível sim que algumas pessoas demonstrem isso, que tenham um nível de maturidade que chama atenção.

Por fim, eu sempre fui um pouco mais maduro do que a maioria dos meus amigos, mas obviamente isso não me livrou de fazer algumas coisas irresponsáveis aqui e ali, mas acho que, no fundo, por ser meio nerd isso me ajudou a entender melhor as coisas e a compreender que a maturidade vêm de dentro mesmo e que a idade pode até influenciar, mas penso que quem decide isso é a nossa mente, criação e caráter.
