1500 Ecency points Giveaway @ LE VILLAGE Hsbi Blog Game Day 6 (En/Fr)
(RP) Hospitality and diplomacy are important elements for a small VILLAGE like ours, so I always extend the warmest welcome to all visitors.
Today we welcome a very impressive delegation from a large local community called Ecency.
Blue is their color, and I must say they made quite an impression when they entered the VILLAGE in their ceremonial costumes.
I didn't expect so many, and I hope we'll have enough wine and beer to quench every thirst.
They brought a very strange machine to demonstrate.
It's worth noting that the @ecency community has developed an original system of reward points based on the activity of its members: the more active they are, the more Ecency points they earn.
But the big news is the development of a device that I'd describe as magical, because it's all about MANA.
(From a sociological point of view, MANA is a form of spiritual energy, which originally, in Melanesian tribes, was intimately linked to giving. At the extreme, the person who had given away all his possessions and lived in the deepest poverty had the most MANA, and the gifts he received were immediately redistributed to the group. This spiritual power gave him the greatest authority, and he became the leader).
The device invented by @ecency reminds me a little of it, if you donate your points you get MANA in exchange (temporarily, nothing is acquired definitively when it comes to MANA)).
This concept is new, and the visiting delegation, led by @melinda010100, is offering us the chance to try it out by donating enough Ecency points to make this mysterious machine work.
A draw will be held among the visitors and villagers to determine the lucky recipient of this generous gift.

je ne m'attendais pas à un si grand nombre et j'espère que nous aurons assez de vin et de bière pour étancher toutes les soifs.

Ils ont apporté un bien étrange machine pour nous faire une démonstration.
Il faut savoir que la communauté @ecency, a développé un système original de points de récompense basé sur l'activité de ses membres, plus il sont actifs, plus ils gagnent de points Ecency.
Mais la grande nouveauté est la mise au point d'un dispositif que je qualifie de magique car il est question de MANA.

(D'un point de vue sociologique la MANA est une forme d'énergie spirituelle, qui à l'origine, dans les tribus mélanésiennes était intimement lié au don. A l'extrême, la personne qui avait donné toutes ses possessions et vivait dans le plus profond dénuement, avait le plus de MANA, les cadeaux qu'il recevait étaient immédiatement redistribués au groupe. Cette puissance spirituelle lui conférait la plus grande autorité et il devenait le chef.)

Le dispositif inventé par @ecency m'y fait un peu penser, si on donne ses points on obtient en échange de la MANA (temporairement, rien n'est acquis définitivement quand on parle de MANA)).

Ce concept est nouveau, et la délégation qui nous rend visite, dirigée par @melinda010100 nous offre la possibilité de l'expérimenter par un don de suffisamment de points Ecency pour faire fonctionner cette mystérieuse machine.

Un tirage au sort sera fait parmi les visiteurs présents et les villageois pour déterminer l'heureux destinataire de ce généreux cadeau.

As for the sociological considerations on the MANA, this is a personal interpretation based on my memories of psychology courses, the gift I'm talking about refers to the "Potlatch", and concerning the chiefs, a notion of TABOO is linked to the MANA.
