My entry for the #monomad challenge.
For this set of photos, I opted for a a small subset of breakwaters on the shore of Lake Michigan. The odd geometry of the breakwaters against the organic flow of the Great freshwater Lake was fun to experiment with.
The images were simple enough to take. It makes one reflect on the nature of water, and a bond with it (at least I've noticed that more in recent years). I still can't swim well, but I do love sitting on the shores of the Great Lakes to take in the rhythm of the water.
What a fun day that was to photograph. Thanks for checking out my photos, and hoping everyone is having a solid start to the new year.
I like the contrast of these photographic compositions, as well as the pattern you followed to capture these images.
Thank you very much - it was a peaceful experience...I wish I could sit on lakes full time!
