The Stone Of Commandment

While Ezra was naked and only a piece of old cloth was tied around his waist and a rope was wrapped around him and he had lost his magical powers, the enemy soldiers threw him into a wooden cage. He did not remember when he lost the fight and was stripped of his combat clothes.

His last memory was of roaming the battlefield and fighting the gods that surrounded him. He remembered that he was sure of himself and the total strength of his opponents was less than him, so how did he get here?

As the soldiers carried his cage through the streets and alleys, people threw stones at his face and the white skin of his face split and red blood flowed from it.

He clenched his teeth in anger and swore to himself that one day he would teach every resident of this land a good lesson. How dare they treat a god like this?

The soldiers arrived at the palace and took him out of the cage, up a long staircase, and dropped him in front of the emperor Jeremiah, the god of gods and Ezra's former lover.

He raised his head and when he looked at the emperor's face, he saw a mixture of anger and sadness and wondered if Jeremiah still had any love left for him.

"You were kind and had a gentle soul, why did you do those horrible things?"

Anger boiled in Ezra.
"Because you betrayed me. You stole something that belonged to me."

"The Empire did not belong to you. It was written on the stone of commandment that I should become emperor."

Ezra shouted:
"You filthy liar! You tampered with that stone."

One of the soldiers hit him hard on the back with his sheathed sword.
"How dare you talk to the emperor like that?"

Ezra looked at the soldier full of hatred.
"It won't stay this way. One day I will boil you in boiling water for what you do to me."

The emperor:
"Put him in the dungeon. I will decide on his punishment later."

While Ezra threatened them and explained to them in detail how to torture them in the future, they threw him into the dungeon.

There he continued shouting, cursing and threatening for some time until he finally fell asleep from exhaustion.

He started to dream. He was in that period of time when the earth was not fully formed and most of its parts were oceans. He and Jeremiah would make their legs like fish tails and swim hand in hand in the deep waters.

What a peaceful and heartwarming time they had. Everything was lovely and beautiful until one day, Ezra found a stone of commandment, on which it was written that he would develop the earth and rule over it.

After reading these sentences, Ezra saw himself in a new form. He was no longer a carefree god sunbathing on the sand and swimming in the water. He was the future emperor, the one who would transform the earth into a wonderful place and create new creatures and all those creatures would worship him.

It was decided that for the time being he and Jeremiah would not tell the other gods about the contents on the stone and would work with them to build new things on earth. They were busy creating for years until one night, Ezra saw the situation as appropriate and told Jeremiah to bring the stone.

His lover brought the stone, but Ezra's eyes widened when he saw Jeremiah's name engraved on it. Anger filled him and he called him a traitor, but Jeremiah insisted that the letters on the stone had changed by themselves.

Ezra woke up and looked at the absolute blackness inside the dungeon. Was it possible that the Stone of commandment had not been tampered with, that he had changed over the years and lost his worthiness to be emperor?
