From An Innocent Lamb To A Malicious Fox

The sweet and lovely taste of the pudding tasted like ash in Abital's mouth, yet she forced herself to eat every last bit of it to give her the energy to complete her mission.

Who was she? The one whose name made every girl in the school jealous. A successful student who was selected as the vice-chancellor's assistant due to her merits.

And yet she herself knew that she was nothing but a servant of an evil creature named Barak. She ensnared Abital and turned her from an innocent lamb into a mischievous fox.

Abital first saw him at the Vampire Club. Barak's pale skin and sharp fangs didn't surprise her, as most members of that club transformed themselves into vampires.

What made Abital's heart tremble with terror was the depth of Barak's gaze. It was as if his black eyes were an endless pit into which she might fall at any moment, and the smile that sat on the curve of his lips was a message of the most ominous things for her.

Abital stopped going to that club and although she saw Barak in her nightmares for a while, she finally forgot him and calmed down. But one day, when she went to the school mail room to ask how long it would take to deliver her package, the official there said that she had received a letter, and Abital's heart sank when she saw the name on the envelope.

Barak had written her a letter. A polite and friendly letter inquiring why Abital didn't come to the vampiric club anymore and that her new and different views on these creatures of the night have had a big impact on his life and that he wants to meet Abital so that they could talk about these issues face to face.

The contents of this letter created a pleasant excitement in Abital. At school, her teachers and classmates always scolded her for what she said about vampires.

They insisted that vampires were evil and cruel creatures, while in Abital's view they were no more guilty than a fox who had to hunt chickens to survive.

And it was probably this mindset that drew Abital to Barak and made her his servant, the one who tricked her classmates and took them as food for the vampire Barak.
