Building Connections With Gobrunch And Dreemport

If you are on Dreemport, then you are aware of this month's challenge which is exploring Gobrunch through their WorldBuilding Expo Event.

I must say that I haven't heard of this community before and I was so excited to know what it is all about.

From this post on dreemport, I was able to get the information I needed to get started and one of it was to follow this link shared in the post.

I registered with my e-mail and though I didn't understand what I was supposed to do after the registration but I made sure I downloaded the Gobrunch and Luma app on my phone.

After registration, I waited patiently for the start of the WorldBuilding Expo (Day 1) which was on Tuesday 11th of June, while (Day 2) was Wednesday 12th of June.

For the Day 1 event. As soon as the event started, we were all gathered in a room that I assumed was the main room. I was wowed by the view of it all and seeing myself amongst lots of other people also got me excited.

Seeing other dreemers like myself in the room got me more excited as we chatted amongst ourselves. We were all given a warm welcome and there was a chat room available where we all greeted one another, I also got some friend requests from other people that attended the event which made me very happy.

After a while, we were told to explore other rooms as there were lots of presentations which is about to take place and lots of rooms to learn from.

So I started going through the rooms and I was just joining every room I could find. After a while, the presentations started and I didn't know I could exit a room and join another, I was just joining almost all of the rooms and lots of people were speaking at once.

I confess that at this point I couldn't keep up but then I had help from the dreem staff in the dreemport room on discord, they were with me as they guided me through by sharing links that could direct us back if we got stuck and that enabled me to get the hang of it to some extent and I was able to stay in a room.

I joined "The Come Wright Inn by RJ". She gave us all a warm welcome and her teachings and presentations was so good that I was so glad I joined in.

I also learned a lot from the host of the Behavioural Super Powers "Kenyatta". She is very vocal and her level of confidence is way out of this world. One of the things she said about how "People become biased when they think you are not as creative as them" brought about a lot of reflective thinking for me. I just knew I wanted to listen to her speak more and more.

The "Recruitment And Careers" room was also very educative and informative. What I love about these presenters is that they take their time in carefully answering your questions and make you want to ask more. I also went round other rooms to listen to their presentations.

What I loved about the whole experience was that everyone felt welcome and seeing other members in some rooms that I visited made it feel like we were very close to one another, enjoying the experience together.

But now that I think of it, I realize that that's one of the things I love about Dreemport as one of her goals is to help you build connections with others. There is no way you will join Dreemport and not see positive changes in all aspects.

We missed you in pypt today. I look forward to seeing more of these posts. I totally forgot about this. Shadows said there was a way to go in and see some of the presentations missed. I just do not know how that works.

I did come in but I came in late due to phone issues.

Yes, shadows mentioned it but I think we can follow some of the links Pen shared on discord.

I think the only person I heard there was Peggy in that welcome video. I loved the vibe, but I still missed all of the event. I hear there'll be another in September, so I never my fingers crossed for that one.

Welcome to the Digital Lifestyle community.

Yes I also heard about the one in September.

Thank you for the warm welcome, Jay.
