Howdy Folks, as always I'm a little behind with the on-goings within some of the communities I frequent. One such community is Inleo (Formall known as LeoFinance). Over the past weeks I noticed a little orange checkmark beside some of my fellow Threaders profile name. Of course it didn't take me long to figure out why that is. In fact I knew the reason as to why some weeks back and wanted to dig a little deeper, today I did just that and will share my findings with you. The reason for that little orange checkmark is the Inleo premium membership. Those who join Inleo's Premium membership have an orange checkmark next to their profile name and also have a multitude of other benefits (more on that later) . Before we dig any deeper into the Premium Membership let me answer some of the questions that might have just arose while you were reading this informative but short introduction. You might be wondering, what is Inleo? You also might be wondering what is a Threader (Did Rentmoney just make that name up/ Maybe)?

InLeo & Threads

Inleo is the hive community formally known as LeoFinance. They have their own front-end that users can use to access the Hive Blockchain. Creating and curating content on Inleo will allow the possibility to earn HIVE, HBD and the Inleo's native token known as LEO (Possibly other tokens as well). For a long time short content was frowned upon when posted to the Hive Blockchain. Inleo made all that a thing of the past with their introduction of Threads. Inleo users use Threads for short to the point content. Think of Twitter (Now known as X) like content but better and on the Hive Blockchain. Threaders are what I call those who use the Threads function.

Pressing subscribe will prompt a transfer of 10 HBD to @leopool. We do not do auto-renew subscriptions which means that we do NOT automatically withdraw 10 HBD every month from your account, so you will be prompted on our site to send another 10 HBD every 30 days when your previous pay period ends if you wish to retain premium status. You can end your Orange Verified status at any time by not sending the next pay cycle. The 10 HBD collected is used to buy $5 worth of HIVE and $5 worth of LEO on a monthly basis to be pooled in a permanent liquidity position. If you ask me that is a host of reasons as to why one should join Premium. The cost to do so is 10 HBD. As of now (12/2/23) the Premium membership expires every 30 days. That means you have 30 days (from the time payment is made) before your premium membership expires. Currently I am not a Premium user so speaking from the point of view of a none Premium member and as a threader I can tell you that the Premium benefit (5) Publish longer threads, will come in handy more often than not. There are other appealing benefits as well. Such as the ability to edit. If you are like me and do very little proofreading before hitting that publish button; Edit is a feature that is almost a necessity. Looking at all the benefits that Premium brings the one benefit that I believe stands-out from the others has to be the Favorites Menu. I believe that anything that helps organize our content or the content of others is a big step in the right direction. Now the big question is, How does one join premium?. Do we need to do a bunch of jumping jacks, followed by a back-flip into a somersault? Nope, but if you have the ability to do those things, I'm very much impressed. To join Premium all one needs to do is login to Inleo using their Inleo Account name and password (Its the same as your Hive Blockchain Profile Details) and once done so navigate to the side bar of your screen. It is there you will see links that lead to many different functions of the Inleo site. In that list displayed in big letters is the link that says Premium; click it. Once clicked a page will load showing the Premium details and benefits. Near the bottom of that page is a link displayed that allows any user wanting to join Premium to do so and its as easy as clicking a button (no jumping jacks or flips required).
