Here's my entry for ZapFic50 Friday!

Mary was reading a book at the cafe while her kids were running around in the mall. Just then, her daughter spotted a suspicious package and shouted for her. Before Mary could react, her daughter stepped forward to pull the ribbon. Mary closed her eyes and prepared for the worst.

Nice lines, I believe they could have been more to that interesting story if there was more than 50 words
