Weekend Engagement - A Day Out With Dinosaurs

This weekend, I will be bringing you readers to Changi Jurassic Mile!!!

As the name suggests, it's very near our airport, which is also located in Changi and it's actually an outdoor attraction with several life sized dinosaurs models! Ironically, the actual path is only about 1 kilometre, so it's not really a "mile" long. Hehe!

This attraction came up during 2020, i.e. during the Covid pandemic period, and in a period where most people cannot travel due to travel restrictions, this place was popular among the locals, mainly because it's outdoors and dinosaurs were a hit among the children!

Of course I joined in the fun and in fact, I have been to this place several times with different groups of friends. Without further ado, let the tour begin!

I was here around noon time and the sun was scorching! Here's the straight path ahead!

Is that a Brontosaurus? Look at the crowds!

Apart from exhibits, there were sound effects too! Roarrrr!

This was the main exhibit in this whole stretch! The T-Rex! Lots of people were queueing up to take photo with it!

More dinosaurs further down the stretch of path... There were many more exhibits and I have only selected a few to share in this post.

And once you are done with the walk, you will be within striking distance from the airport terminals where you can freshen up and get some air-condition in the buildings!

I like this place a lot because it's something different from the usual city views we get in Singapore. If you are in the city centre, it's really skyscrapers after skyscrapers. Or if you are in the shopping centre, it's shopping malls after shopping malls. The Changi Jurassic Mile hence provides a unique experience and it's fun to relive all my childhood memories where I was so crazy about reading up on all these dinosaurs stuff.
