SBT Is Back - Get Stackin And Quit Slackin! :P

I have written about SBT (Splinterlands Battle Token) a few times in the past and also in a recent post, and this post is done for my participation in SBT giveaway contest! With the disclaimer out of the way (lol), let me get back to the writing!

I have been with the SBT community almost right at the start (if I am not wrong) and have been through the ups and downs of the journey. Have seen the price of 1 million SBT both below 10 Hive or even as high as 70 Hive. It's a very chill community and I think that's ideal for me because we are all busy with a million things in our lives. But when we get together, we can chat as though as we have known each other for a while.

Aside from the community, the SBT Discord offers up to 6 Splinterlands card raffles per day, all thanks to @itzninjafool! Recently, the drips of SPS, DEC and VOUCHER have resumed as well! While it's not a significant amount because it's prorated based on each individual's staked SBT, any rewards is a bonus already. I have talked about this in greater detail in my recent post. Just recently, I was surprised to see drips of BTC, ETH and DOGE! This was in addition to all the awesome stuff that were being dripped which I mentioned in the earlier post. I am not too sure about the frequency because I think it's still in trial stage, and perhaps there's more to come. I know the amounts are very small, but in terms of APR, it's not small if you consider the low price of the SBT token.

With all this "free" stuff, you might wonder if all these is sustainable. There was some discussion on this, and I think it's something that is work in progress. So do your own diligence (and don't swap all your Hive into SBT). Haha.

Personally, I have increased my staked SBT recently from 1 million to 2 million to show my support to the project. Of course, it comes with more daily rewards but these are non-guaranteed as I have mentioned earlier, which is fine.

As for my concluding thoughts, while the rewards are awesome, I think forming friendships and supporting meaningful projects on Hive is more fun and purposeful. And SBT is a project that I am happy to be part of.
