Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Two Perfect Brawls In A Row!!!

Time flies! Just completed the 139th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 4 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 3rd!!

So for the final result, we were 3rd out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 16 SPS! A whole bag of SPS!

Individually, I had 4 fights this time and I won all 4 of them this time! Finished 1st within the guild! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 5 additional wins for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Being an Earthquake and Poison battle, plus Blast(!), the priority was to survive, I packed my lineup with Gladius cards, cards with Immumity, cards with Martyr, and Taunt, just to outlast my opponent. Fortunately, Gorth got enough Bloodlust to kept himself alive and we managed to outlast the opponent comfortably.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato and Captain Katie

With Larissa Kerato around, my damage output was outrageous! Even when my opponent had the dreaded Quora Towershead, my team was never in danger as two Gladius cards powered through my opponent's lineup. An amazing performance by the entire team.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Whistling Damon

This was a tough battle to fight and I opted the Astral Entity/Venari Marksrat combination to trigger Martyr twice on Gargoya Devil. In the end, it worked extremely well as Gargoya Devil was boosted to 4 Ranged attack and 5 speed, making it almost invincible. All thanks to Astral Entity!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver

All the legendary cards are pulling their weight and showing their worth in the brawl battles this week! I almost lost this as I was always one card behind my opponent. Fortunately, I positioned my Djinn Oshannus better and this allowed the cards in my backline to deal damage while my opponent got stuck with Void.

So that sums up my 4 battles for this brawl! 100% win rate! Two perfect brawls in a row!!!! I don't think it has ever happened before!
