Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Another Perfect Score!

Time flies! Just completed the 56th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 4 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 2nd!!

So for the final result, we got 2nd out of 10 guilds and got 808 Merits and around 15 SPS!

Individually, I had 4 fights this time and only won all 4 this time! Am back to my winning ways and finished 2nd within the guild! Extremely happy with my personal performance.

Let's jump into the battles!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

A triple ruleset and I had to come up with a lineup without Water. I decided on a defensive lineup with 2 healers and 1 repair but my opponent's lineup was much much stronger. I had an extremely tough time dealing with their Gladius tank and subsequently their Level 2 Xenith Monk, who came with Heal. With almost my entire team struck out, Sola Ranjell impressed and won a solo battle against 4 cards. I guess having a Legendary Gladius saved me this time!

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

Melee Mayhem ruleset meant we definitely had to call upon Trapp Falloway. Paired my team with newly rented Astral Entity but Cursed Windeku did most of the job with its Thorns and struck the decisive blow against the opposing Gladius card! In the end, I didn't even need Resurrect and still won this battle comfortably.

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Ajax Lightfoot

Ranged only rulesets are always challenging because the amount of cards available to use are very limited, and there's always the big question of which card to use as the tank. This time I strategically took advantage of the Opportunity ruleset and placed my Martyr rat in between my best cards in the lineup. The plan worked perfectly and Drybone Raider powered through the opposing lineup. So congratulations to Drybone Raider for getting his first MVP, and probably first of many to come!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

These triple rulesets were creating a lot of chaos for Silver players like me, who weren't used to it and the selection process were definitely not intuitive. Another one came along and I didn't bother and stuck to my template Water lineup. Sea Monster was just too strong in this one and it was a nice ending to this perfect brawl!

So that sums up my 4 battles for this brawl! 100% WIN RATE!!!! With 3 out of 4 on Level 1 summoners.
