Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 1st Legendary Gladius Card After 21 Packs!!!

Time flies! Just completed the 43rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 7 battles this time and it was not an easy round. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days. Miraculously, I did great this round and I was so proud of my teams!

• We Got 3rd!!!

So for the final result, we got 3rd out of 10 guilds and got 700 Merits and around 10 SPS! Podium finish so it's an awesome result!

Individually, I had 7 fights this time and I managed to win a whooping 6 of them. Finished 3rd within the guild! Very pleased with my personal result.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

It has been a long while since Isgald Vorst joined my brawl battles and he got a rare chance in this relatively low mana fight. Once again, Sea Monster shone in its impressive 1 to 1 fights with Djinn Oshannus and led the team to victory!

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

My options were limited with a Thorns and Poison fight. I must say my opponent got all the tactics spot on, with Conqueror Jacek's Scattershot that was perfect for Poison battles and the cards were strong too. Fortunately, I had good damage output and high HP cards like Djinn Oshannus and Nerissa Tridawn. Nerissa Tridawn's 3 magic damage was very crucial in this case and prevented a Bloodlust so she deserved the MVP!

Battle 3 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway

When I saw low mana battle and Melee Mayhem, there's only 1 card in my mind to go for and that's Trapp Falloway! Ditched my favourite and comfortable Water lineups to go with a Death lineup. Never mind it was just a Level 1 lineup, Trapp Falloway obliterated the team and secured a good win for the team.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Cutter Brieze

I always panicked a little when I had to go for my weaker elements such as Earth and Life lineups, because I don't really play them and I don't have good cards in these elements either. Nonetheless, I went with the best strategised lineup possible within my vanilla selection and Regal Peryton saved this win for me with its Flying ability and high Speed. Ended the battle with all 4 cards in tact as my opponent couldn't take down the tank.

Opponent fled! Free win! That's 5 wins already!

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

Sometimes we don't have to over complicate things. I put out just 1 card for this 12 mana fight and Gorth did a fantastic job for me. Would have been more tricky if the opponent put out Djinn Chwala or Sea Monster.

Battle 7 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Chimney Wallstop

My chance for 100% wins in a brawl once again evaporated after I clashed head on with this higher levelled team. I was outmuscled by the stronger cards this time and had no complains for that. The consolation was I still managed to strike out 2 out of the 6 opposing cards (if he had Yodin Zaku, it would have been a instant wipeout lol).

So that sums up my 7 battles for this brawl! 86% win rate!
