Hunter x Hunter is having a plot of a boy named Gon Freecs that lives with his aunt and is looking for his Father named Gin Freecs which is known as a great Hunter. To follow his father's step, he also join the Hunter examination at the young age after passed his aunt's test to catch a giant fish on their village. While doing the hunter's exam, he mets another contestant that later become his best friend. They are Killua, a boy from famous assasin family which later become his closest friend, Kurapika, the last man from Kuruta Clan (his clan are getting genoside by a gang named Genei Ryodan), and Leorio, a man that is fighting to become a doctor after losing his best friend because of an illness.

They try to pass the exam together and had a great adventure there. Even after the exam, their adventure are still continued. They learn many things out there, from the spiritual power called "nen" , being in a reality virtual world Greed Island, and facing super mutant creatures on the Chimera Ants's arch. Sadly, this manga having so many hiatus which saw the progress is super slow due to it's writer's Health Problem. Even right now, after the manga back again, issues about the writer's health problem still haunting and caused hunter x hunter was put on the list of manga that is already end (no more new chapter). But lately, i've heard that the manga was continued again (please correct me if i'm wrong)

I was born n 1995, and start to know Hunter x Hunter from a serial tv. On that series, i fall in love with the plot of hunter exam with so many tricks and thrill on there (note : i was watching it when i was in elementary school ). I later become addicted to Hunter x Hunter and can't wait for the new episode to comes (on the tv, it keeps get rewinds after certain episode), that's why i decide to start reading it's manga.

And what makes my tear dropped is the scene where the Ant's King (which supposed to be an antagonist) is Dead on the Lap of Komugi, a blind little woman that makes him realized that in this worlds, there is still some people that superior than him on some aspect and human's are a worth living creatures.

It was sad because at that arch, the antagonist is started to find the light has to stopped and died by a poison with the blind little woman that bring the light. And the one who done it is a respected character which is a Hunter's Organization's Head that is an old great man with kind heart that is just trying to save the mankind and sarifice himself to do the self explode that later killed the king with it's poison.

And it get's very emotional when Gon is know that Kite is already dead and are not cureable. This was triggered Gon, a nice boy become full of hattred and transformed into an adult that is physically able to beat the enemy. This scene itself become an iconic scene where so many people are cosplaying it

Thank you for kindly read my post, i hope you guys enjoy this post. Even if it strange on the first time reading the chimera ants arch (because i think the creatures are absurd and far from reality), but in my opinion it offer you the best narrative, action, characters, and twists ! And this arch has made me fall even deeper in love for Hunter x Hunter. You would feel every emotions there and might ended up in tear just like me 😅

I was really exciting and want to tell you more about the story of Hunter x Hunter but it would take all day long to do that. You had to read the manga by yourself, i'm serious!
